Cookie Policy

Effective date: 05 October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser. They are used to remember things between visits or pages, for example a setting or a login, or to measure how a site is used. Similar technologies such as local storage work in a comparable way, and this policy covers them too.

2. Our use of cookies

ainalitic.com uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, listed below. Only one is strictly necessary: it remembers your cookie choice. Visit statistics through Google Analytics are optional and stay off unless you accept them. There is no login, account, or shopping cart on this website.

3. Cookies we use

NamePurposeTypeDuration
ainalitic_cookie_consentRemembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask on every pageStrictly necessary (browser local storage)Up to 12 months, then we ask again
_gaGoogle Analytics: tells returning visitors apart so visits are counted correctlyAnalytics, only with your consent2 years
_ga_<property ID>Google Analytics: keeps track of the current visitAnalytics, only with your consent2 years

4. Analytics (Google Analytics)

If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to count visits and understand which pages are useful and how visitors find the site. It records things such as the pages viewed, approximate location (country or city level), device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use this only for our own statistics.

We do not use Google's advertising features or Google signals, and we do not use this data for advertising. Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically.

5. Hosting, fonts and Google

Even before you make a choice, some technical data is processed. This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, and like any web host it may log technical information about each request, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested, in its server logs. The website also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and your IP address is visible to them. Neither of these sets a cookie on our site. Their handling of that data is described in their own privacy statements.

If you accept analytics, your browser also sends usage data to Google, which may process it on servers outside the EU/EEA under Google's own safeguards. See Google's privacy policy for details.

6. Your choices

7. Changes to this policy

We will update this page, including the effective date, whenever our use of cookies changes.
